Gary Stephen Crumley, 53, of Omega died Monday, September 15, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado with Rev. Joseph L. Crumley and Rev. Todd Garner officiating. Mr. Crumley’s son, Wade, will give a eulogy. Mr. Crumley will be laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado.
Chris Mullis, Dennis House, Thomas Varnadoe, Doug Meders, Ricky Griffis, David Tapp and Kevin Keith will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Crumley’s brothers, Jerry Crumley Jackie Crumley and Jimmy Crumley.
Mr. Crumley was born on July 21, 1961 in Tifton and was the son of Dewey Russell Crumley and Hazel Butler Crumley, both deceased. He was a farmer and a member of Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado.
Mr. Crumley is survived by his wife, Tonya Harper Crumley of Omega; one son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Jill Crumley of Lenox; one daughter, Jennifer Woodall of Omega; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jerry and Patsy Crumley, Jackie Crumley and Jimmy and Shirley Crumley, all of Omega; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Farris Thompson of Waterloo and Bonnie and John Overman of Omega; and four grandchildren, Kade Crumley, Danielle Haze Crumley, Autumn Griner and Gaven Woodall.
