CHICOPEE – Theresa V. (Blanchette) Page, 84, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, September 13, 2014. She passed into Eternal Life from her home surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born in Holyoke on May 24, 1930, a beloved daughter of the late Azarias and Georgianna (Fredette) Blanchette. She enjoyed her many trips to Foxwoods and was often seen at many of the local bingo games. Theresa volunteered at Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen and was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. Most of all, she was a wonderful homemaker to her family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Jean-Paul Page who was Called Home on February 18, 2001. They were married on April 22, 1950 at Immaculate Church in Holyoke and were blessed with over 50 years of happiness together. She leaves her loving children, Douglas P. Page, Michael J. Page and his wife, Laurie, and Suzette Y. Brackett and her husband, James; her four cherished grandchildren; her six cherished great-grandchildren; her dear sister, Doris E. Cusson; her dear brother-in-law, Marcel Archambault; and her many dear nephews, nieces and cousins. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
