A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Lawrence Cemetery where Mrs. Coarsey will be laid to rest. Rev. Joseph L. Mrs. Coarsey was born on November 26, 1920 in Ragland, Alabama and was the daughter of James Walters and Maggie Green Weiss, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wiley H. Coarsey, Sr., three brothers and one sister. Mr. and Mrs. Coarsey lived in Brookfield for over 71 years. She was retired from City Shoe Store.
