
William Cooper “Bill” Potter, 94, of Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio died Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on March 26, 1920 the son of Rupert and Matilda (Walker) Potter. He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School. He married Grace Darling on February 28, 1942 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps serving as a B17 Bomber Pilot. He had been self-employed as a graphoanalyst for many years, retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Grace; two sons, David Potter and his wife Sandra, of Providence, Rhode Island and Geoffery Potter and his wife Karen McVeih, of New Castle, New Hampshire; a daughter, Thelma Seyferth and her husband Ray, of Dunnellon, Florida; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven.
