Sheila (Prout) Hunt, 54, of New Bedford died Wednesday March 27, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond J. Hunt, daughter of the late Harold Prout and Alice (Rioux) Andreassen, and stepdaughter of the late David Andreassen.
Mrs. Hunt was born in Acushnet and had lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a member and lay minister of the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Alicia Sostre of New Bedford and Kim Oliver of Taunton; 2 brothers, Harold Prout and David Andreassen, both of New Bedford; a sister, Sandra Trubilowicz of New Bedford; a grandson, Donald Pita, Jr. of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.She was the sister of the late Sharon Bourque.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 29, 2002 at 10 AM in Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday morning 9 AM-10 AM, prior to the Funeral Service.
