Obituary

CHICOPEE – Pearl M. (Coderre) Meade Bonville, 77, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, September 8, 2014. She passed into Eternal Life at Willimansett Center East in Chicopee surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Holyoke on July 25, 1937, a beloved daughter of the late Arthur G. and Florence (Durocher) Coderre. She was raised in Hampden, Massachusetts and graduated from the former Springfield Trade High School. She later lived in Holyoke and Becket before moving to the Fairview section of Chicopee in 1975. She was last employed as a personal care assistant for Vanguard Home Healthcare in Chicopee. She was a communicant of the former Precious Blood Church in Holyoke. She was a wonderful homemaker to her large family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Francis J. Meade, Jr. who was Called Home on May 9, 1967, and Vernon E. Bonville who was Called Home on January 12, 1994; her loving daughter, Lisa Marie Meade who was Called Home on November 30, 2001; her loving son, Paul Bonville who was Called Home on May 27, 2005; her loving brother, Robert Coderre who was Called Home on February 12, 2006; her loving sister, Pauline Kelleher who was Called Home on September 14, 2008; and her cherished grandson, Joshua J. Buffoni who was Called Home on August 7, 2014. She leaves her loving children, Debora N. Hale of Lee, Francis J. Meade, III of Chicopee, William A. Meade and his wife, Sherry, of Port St. John, FL, Michelle P. Dube of Chicopee, Eric M. Meade and his wife, Patty, of South Duxbury, VT, Guy C. Meade and his wife, Louise, of Chicopee, and Sharon Bonville and Jere Bonville, both of Old Orchard Beach, ME; her 21 cherished grandchildren; her 32 cherished great-grandchildren; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended members of the Bonville, Meade, and Coderre families. Her funeral will be held on Monday morning, September 15, 2014 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Fairview Cemetery, Abbey Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA 01013. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home. Her family has requested that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
