Mary Elizabeth (Cushing) Lindskog, of Easton, formerly of Stoughton and Dedham, passed away at home on Thursday November 25, 2004. She was 81 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl W. Lindskog.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 19, 1923, she was the loving daughter of the late David and May (Sebastian) Cushing.
Mrs. Lindskog attended Boston Public Schools and was a graduate of Dorchester High School.
She had been a resident of Easton for a short period of time, coming from Stoughton, where she had lived for 34 years. She had also previously lived in Dedham.
Mrs. Lindskog was a member of the Viking Club, various dancing clubs and a bridge club and was the recipient of many dance related awards and honors.
She also loved golfing.
She is survived by her daughter, Davie McNamara and her husband Edward of Stoughton.Two grandchildren : Connie Davis and her husband Frank of Hollywood, FLA, and Danielle Lea McNamara of Stoughton , a greatgrandson Matthew Connor Davis also of Hollywood, FLA two nieces and one nephew. She was also the grandmother to the late Justin E. McNamara and sister of the late David Cushing Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday November 30, 2004 at 7:45 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street (Off Rt. 138 at the First Federal Savings Bank), Stoughton, followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow in Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton.
Visiting hours are on Monday November 29, 2004 from 4-8 P.M.
