Marshall Calvin Jackson, 61, of Tifton died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Keith Burch officiating. Mr. Jackson will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Jackson was born on March 25, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama and was the son of Avance Blow and Eunice Rosalee Thomas Blow, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Ellis B. Jackson. He was an auto parts salesman at Discount Auto Parts in Tifton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and race cars. He loved his family, especially his grandkids.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Connie Streetman Jackson of Tifton; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Billie Jackson Olguin and husband Ruben of Tifton, Kerri Jackson Mendoza and husband Bobby of Ocilla, Taylor Jackson of Tifton and Jaycee Jackson of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony M. and Brenda Jackson of Mayo, Florida; one sister, Mary Kenner of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Javier Olguin, Rey Olguin, Diego Olguin, Lia Olguin, Nana Olguin, Quiel Olguin and Ty Keene; and two nieces, Toni Sheree and Rosalie Taylor.
