Hazel Collier Dorminy, 96, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, died Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Baptist Memorial Medical center, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 28, 2004, at Eureka Primitive Baptist Church, Irwin County, with Elder Jamey Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until the funeral hour at the church.
Mrs. Dorminy was born January 3, 1908, in Richmond, Virginia, to the late Willie and Mammie Smith Collier. She lived in Arkansas since 1989, was a member of Eureka Primitive Baptist Church, Irwin County and attended Second Baptist Church in Little Rock. Mrs. Dorminy was a former resident of Miami, Florida, where she worked for the United States Imigration and Naturalization Service as an interpreter.
Mrs. Dorminy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Howard B. (Betty) Watkins, Jr., North Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren and several great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Dorminy and a daughter, Ester Bauml.
