Jeffrey C. Sigl, 55, of Medway died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Penny (Abramson) Sigl since 1989.
Born in Englewood, New Jersey on June 24, 1959, he was the son of the late Carl E. and Elva J. (Pirl) Sigl.
Mr. Sigl grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey and was a resident of Medway since 1994.
He was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
After many years in the biomedical industry, he joined G6 Capital Management in Needham in 2012, where he was a partner and Director of Analytics.
Mr. Sigl was active with the Medway Boy Scouts Troop 108. His passions were boating, music, the stock market, intellectual pursuits, and most importantly, his family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Carter Sigl and his daughter Annie Sigl, both of Medway.
He is also survived by his sister Joette Sigl Fenwick and his nephews and niece, William, Matthew and Katie Fenwick, all of Hillsdale, New Jersey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday September 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
