Rita Elaine (Molino) Bogan, 70, of Bellingham died August 23, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was the wife of Joseph L. Bogan.
Born in Boston, January 22, 1944, the daughter of the late Faustino and Rafaela (DiGiampaolo) Molino, Mrs. Bogan was raised in West Roxbury and had lived in Bellingham for the past 45 years.
A homemaker, for most of her life, Mrs. Bogan had worked as a secretary for the DSS for several years.
A talented artist, Rita had taught the method way of painting.
She was a great cook and loved to garden.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Joseph D. Bogan of Bellingham, Michelle E. Hanrahan and her husband Dave of South Bellingham, Michael P. Bogan and his wife Elizabeth of Hope Valley, Rhode Island and Dean P. Bogan and his wife Tracy of Hopkinton.
She as the sister of the late Bertino Molino, Giovanni Molino and Maria Fuller.
She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, august 27 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com ) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
