WEST BROOKFIELD: Christine A. Metterville, 68, of Pierce Road died Thursday, Aug. 21 in Baystate Mary Lane Hospital after an illness.
She leaves her father Henry A. Metterville, Jr. of West Brookfield, three brothers Dennis N. Metterville and his wife Dorothy of Brookfield, Gary H. Metterville and his wife Debra of Webster and David L. Metterville and his wife Amy of Spencer, a sister Crystal J. Dalve and her husband Mark of West Brookfield. She is pre-deceased by a sister Patty A. Metterville and a brother Scott H. Metterville.
Christine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Anita C. (Young) Metterville. Christine loved doing her crafts, and although blind, loved making her beautiful beaded necklaces, which she shared with everyone. Christine attended the Thayer Adult Care program in Ware. She was such a gentle soul. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. The family would also like to thank Mary Beauregard and her family with whom Christine lived with for the past 7 years, for all the love, support and care she received. They were her extended family and loved her as their own, as she did them.
