Carolyn Sus Chambless, 56, of Tifton died Friday, August 22, 2014, at Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Conway Harris officiating. Ms. Chambless will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday. August 25, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Chambless was born on September 9, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama and was the daughter of Leroy Chambless and Lucille Mazie Gray, both deceased. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of Believer's Baptist Church in Tifton. She loved her family and friends, was free-hearted and a true giver.
Ms. Chambliss is survived by one brother, Kenneth Ray Chambless of Poulan; and one sister, Diane Deal of Tifton.
