Guilherme A. Mouronho, age 62 of Fall River, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the companion of Maria Olinda Romano, and the son of the late Alvaro & Laura (Alves) Mouronho. He had worked as a Machine Operator for the former Quaker Textile Co, and as a waiter at the Lusitano and the former Traneira Restaurants. He was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church, a member of the Fall River Sports Club, an avid Benfica fan, and enjoyed playing cards.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Maria L. Garcia and his son, Paul Mouronho, all of Fall River; siblings: Bernardino Mouronho of Fall River and Noemia Almeida of Portugal; grandchildren: Daniel & Tanya Garcia, Jynathaen Mouronho; several nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Monday from 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
