FALL RIVER – Jeanne Pauline (Roy) Guay, 64, of 44 Goss Street, died Monday, November 22nd in Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Oscar William Guay. She is survived by 3 sons, Joseph R. Cabral of New Bedford, Michael J. Cabral of Westport, and Robert J. Cabral of Fall River, 1 sister, Elaine Amaral of Fall River, 10 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Roy.
She was born in Fall River and also a lifelong resident, the daughter of the late Henry Roy and the late Louise (Francoeur) Roy. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Guay worked as a seamstress and was the proprietor of Jeanne’s Custom Drapes. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Her funeral will be held on FRIDAY, November 26th at 8:00 AM from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 North Main Street, Fall River, MA followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 AM in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Spring Street, Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road, Fall River. Calling hours are WEDNESDAY, November 23rd from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
