CHICOPEE – Joshua J. “Josh” Buffoni, 36, of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, August 7, 2014. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by all of the memories that he loved and cherished. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on December 5, 1977, a beloved son of Debora N. (Meade) Hale and the late Raymond M. Buffoni. He was raised in Pittsfield, attended Pittsfield schools and had lived in the Berkshires before moving to Springfield in 2008 and later to Chicopee in 2012. Josh was employed as a mechanic at City Tire in Pittsfield and later worked as a chef at Trattoria il Vesuvio Restaurant in Lenox. Above all, he showered his children and family with his love and affection which was returned to him a thousand fold. Josh leaves his beloved mother, Debora N. (Meade) Hale of Chicopee; his seven loving children, Aryonnah Buffoni, Cheyanna Buffoni and Kaden Buffoni, Tyler Carinci, Jaden, and Destiny Buffoni and Serenity Buffoni; his cherished maternal grandmother, Pearl M. (Coderre) Bonville of Chicopee; his dear sister, Amanda Buffoni of Lee; his dear brother, Joseph Buffoni of Pittsfield; his three dear half brothers, Mark Buffoni of Stockbridge, Michael Buffoni and his wife, Bonnie, of West Stockbridge, and Matthew Buffoni and his wife, Vanessa, of Pittsfield; and his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and extended members of the Buffoni and Meade families. His funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of his family.
