Earline Brock Branam, 79, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Pruitt Health at Osceola in Ocilla.
Funeral services will be held, 12 noon, Saturday, August 16, 2014 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Wilburn Wiley and the Rev. Leroy Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Branam was born December 24, 1934 in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Rev. Henry Paul and Mary Lou Maddox Brock. Being a former resident of Ocilla, she had lived in Fitzgerald for 47 years. Mrs. Branam was a homemaker and labored in the fields beside her husband. She also served as a pastor’s wife during her husband’s ministry for over 20 years. She was a former employee of the Ben Hill County Primary School Lunchroom for 19 years. Mrs. Branam was a member of Liberty Emmanuel Holiness Church of Jesus Christ. She loved to read and study her Bible and attend church and was a fervent prayer warrior.
She was survived by a son: Jerry Lee & Beverly Branam of Irwinville; her daughters: Shirley & Gerald Hulett of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Merilda & James Hood of Fitzgerald; five grandchildren: Tonya & T.J. Kegebein of Fitzgerald, Alisha Branam of Irwinville, Miranda & Matthew Jackson of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Amber & Cody Schuler of Franklin, Kentucky and Michael Hood and fiancé Angela Bergeron of Baxley; three great-grandchildren: Austin & Kailie Kegebein and Katlin Hood and three brothers: Daniel Brock of Byron, Leroy Brock of The Rock and Lowell Brock of Ashburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Wiley L. Branam; a sister: Laverne Brock Dudley; a brother: Gilbert Brock and an infant brother: Clinton Brock.
