Gray, of Brockton, November 21, 2004, Norman L. Gray 77 years. Uncle of Virginia Sedani, Sheila Jacobson, Tina Jacobson and Jimmy Jacobson all of Brockton.Devoted companion of Gertrude Clinton of Brockton.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 9am with visitation at 8 am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 10:45am. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-6pm. Donations in Norman’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Obituary

Norman L. Gray died Sunday morning at Brockton Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He was born in Brockton son of the late Wilton L. and Helena (Brady) Gray. He had been a life long resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School.

He had a 14 year career with the military police in the US Army, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. He served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. He had been employed as a prison guard at Norfolk County Prison and a security guard for Howard Johnson and Thom McCann in Brockton.

Mr. Gray had been a resident and past president of Caffrey Towers. He enjoyed old movies especially John Wayne, was a history buff and also loved to fish.

He is survived by four brothers Wilton Gray of Bourne, Ronald Gray of Brockton, Russell Gray of Vermont, and David Gray of Brockton, two sisters Marilyn Persson of Connecticut, Shirley Murphy of Avon, his devoted companion Gertrude Clinton of Brockton, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Lorraine Litchfield, John Gray and Wallace Gray.
