Cherryl A. (Nealis) Mills, age 65, of Norton passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, August 11, 2014.
Born in Cape Town, South Africa on February 1, 1949, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles, Sr. and Saloma (DeJager) Nealis.
Her early childhood was spent living in South Africa and at an early age, she and her family moved to United States where they first settled in Texas.
Cherryl was a graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas and attended Sarah Lawrence College in New York. She spent the majority of her professional career in the healthcare industry.
A resident of Norton for the past 3 years, she had previously made her home in Maryland, New Jersey and Texas.
Cherryl possessed a strong love for animals; her favorite being cats. She treasured times spent amongst family and friends.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters; Melissa M. Driscoll and her husband Thomas of Norton and Aimee M. Mills of New York. She was the dear sister of Charles Nealis, Jr.of Texas and the late Glendyr Kiracofe, and is also survived by her cherished grandsons; Matthew Driscoll and Christopher Driscoll.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 19th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church. 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will be private.
