Chester J. Bulak,67, of 19 Sherman Grove, died Friday, Nov. 19 after being stricken ill while hunting in Millinocket, Me.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Cecile I. (Bellefeuille) Bulak, four sons Michael R. Bulak of Chicago, Ill., David E. and his wife Shirley R. Bulak of Spencer, John J. and his wife Lynn M. Bulak of Millbury and Kenneth R. and his wife Lori J. Bulak of Warren, two daughters Cheryl M. and her husband Brian J. Grogan of Hopkington, N.H., and Karen A. and her husband Joseph P. Bourque of Nashua, N.H., three brothers Richard Bulak of Shrewsbury, William Bulak of Barre and Mark Bulak of Holden, a sister Linda Gentile of Shrewsbury, 17 grand and two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bulak was a longtime machinist having worked at area machine shops before retiring in 2002. He previously worked for over 20 years at Wyman Gordon Co. in Worcester and most recently was a courier for the Webster Credit Union. He once served in the AirForce in the late 1950's.
He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and was a life member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, vacationing with his wife in Maine and trips to Foxwoods.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Chester and Kathleen (Eaton) Bulak.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 60 Maple St., Spencer.
