Carr, Stowe of Brookline, August 5, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Nellie (Metanias) Carr for 72 years. Devoted father of John J. Carr and his wife Donna C. of Needham and the late Christine A. Karageanis and her surviving husband Dennis of Walpole. Grandfather of Jennifer Sheytanian and her husband Mark of North Attleboro, Andrea Karageanis of Walpole, Karen Wolff and her husband Charles of Foxboro. Great-grandfather of Alexander, Arianna, Dylan Wolff, and Kathryn Sheytanian.
Stowe was a late member of the Hellenic Square and Compass Club and the Masonic Lodge AF-AM of Lynn. Past member of the Board of Directors of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Boston. Former Scout Leader. US Army WWII Veteran.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16), Wellesley, Monday at 9am, followed by a Funeral Service in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St. Weston, at 10am. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-6pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Walnut HIll Cemetery, Brookline.
