Billy Randall Collier, Sr., 60, of Tifton died Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Landon Alberson officiating. Mr. Collier will be laid to rest at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery in Cook County. Ricky Daughtrey, Dewayne Collier, Michael Collier, Larry Cato, Larry Warren, Dylan Collier and Joe Lofasso will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Collier was born on July 20, 1954 in Adel and was the son of Marylon Collier and Christine Cosper Collier, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Elise Robinson; and a sister-in-law, Joanne Dorman. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Mr. Collier is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Robinson Collier of Tifton; three sons and their fiancés, Billy Randall Collier, Jr. and Kelly McWhorter of Rochelle, Robbie Lee Sherrod and Keria Ellis of Moultrie and Randy Carroll Collier and Klarice Hopper of Moultrie; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Raymond Dorman of Omega, Ray Dorman of Omega, Larry Collier of Tifton and Jerry and Linda Collier of Adel; one sister, Sue Collier of Omega; four grandchildren, Callie Collier, Zoe Sherrod, Will Collier and Kendall Collier; his father-in-law, James Robinson of Pavo; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Clark, Bonnie Hamby, Faye Lofasso, Latrelle Robinson, Ferrell Robinson and Sharon Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and his good friends, Brandi and Billy Massey, Nicole Fletcher and Clara Warren.
