Boscawen– Rita D. Provencher, 90 died August 3, 2014 at Merrimack County Nursing Home following brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on October 27, 1923 the daughter of Romeo and Rosina (Remillard) Dery and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
She enjoyed crafts, cross stitching, ceramics and family gatherings.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur A. Provencher on June 29, 1997.
Family members include 3 sons; Ronald A. Provencher and his wife, Frances of Bedford, Paul R. Provencher of Manchester, Roger R. Provencher and his wife, Priscilla of Concord, 2 daughters; Monique LaPorte and her husband, Chris of Concord, Diane Gagnon and her husband, Gary of Colorado Springs, CO., 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Marceline LaBrie of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial reception will be held September 26, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a prayer service at 12:30 in the funeral home. Committal prayers will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery
