DARTMOUTH - Martha L. Penler, 80, of Fairhaven, died August 5, 2014, at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Downing) Ruggieri.
Born in Providence, R.I. she lived in Fairhaven, Ma. Some of her hobbies include Photography and Billiards.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Aloia and her husband Joseph and Kristine Vancour and two sons, Robert Penler and his wife Sherry and Thomas Penler. Also survived by 3 sisters, Dorothea Cary, Lillian A. Costa and Lucille Marcello, 3 brothers, William C.Ruggieri, Thomas M. Ruggieri, and John Ruggieri and 8 grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Mrs. Penler was also the sister of the late Ralph, Patrick and James Ruggieri.
Her funeral mass will be held at St. Lawrence Martyr Church on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at 9:00 a.m.
Visitation will at the WILSON CHAPEL 479 County St. New Bedford on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
