Cherished mother of Denise and her husband Charles Murnane of No. Reading, Mary “Theresa” Butler of Reading, Michelle and her husband Glen Cobb of Hampton, NH, Edward Butler and his wife Carol of Moncks Corner, SC, Richard Butler and his wife Shelly of Houston, TX, Donna and her husband Thomas Fay of Lillian, AL.
Loving sister of Peter Johnston of Ayer and the late Andrew and Paul Johnston.
Devoted grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville on Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friend gratefully invited to attend.
Funeral from the Jeanne Jugan Residence on Thursday at 9:15am. A Mass will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143.
Interment on Thursday at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30pm.
