Manuel Cabral, age 89, of Fall River passed away Saturday August 2, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in São Miguel, Açores he was son of the late Luis and Maria (Alves) Cabral and husband of Violente (Pavao) Cabral. He was a construction worker for Pavao Construction, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Manuel is survived by his children Octavio Cabral ( wife Rose), and Delia Almeida (husband Luis), his siblings: José Cabral, Fernanda Jacob, Gilda Vasconcelos, Alda Medeiros, Maria José Mateus, Theresa and Bibiana Cabral, grandchildren: Keith and Kelly Almeida, Kristie Heller, Jonathan, Jennifer, and Samantha Cabral, great grandchildren: Garin Gray, Chace and Sadie Almeida, Benjamin Heller, Giana and Mason Cabral. He was also the brother of the late Almerinda Alexander and Aniceto Cabral.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on WEDNESDAY here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Holy Name Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on TUESDAY from 5-8 P.M.
