Peter Coleman, 66, passed peacefully on July 31, 2014, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Peter was a long-time local educator in the
Oxnard School District, endearing himself to colleagues and students with his sharp wit and generous nature. Peter was an avid surfer and mountain
biker as well, traveling all over Central and South America in search of adventure and waves. Peter leaves many long-time friends and comrades he held dear to his heart and who will miss him.
Peter is survived by son Daniel F. Coleman, sister Judith Coleman-Cohen and his devoted companion of fifteen years, Rosemarie Brickey.
