Our beloved Robert J. Munafo of Medford, MA, died peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
Robert was raised in Medford, MA the son of the late Anthony and Angelina Munafo. After graduating from Don Bosco High School, he served with the US Air Force and was proud to be a military man. Robert earned his degree from Northeastern University pursuing his career as a mechanical draftsman, as well as owning and operating three full service beauty salons.
Robert later moved to Boca Raton, FL where he pursued his real dream...his love of music. He performed all over Florida and loved every moment of it, bringing smiles to all those he performed for.
A devoted family man and friend. Robert is known for his kindness, loyalty, generosity, and the ability to make people laugh.
Beloved husband of Jeanette, dear brother of Rosemary and Linda, loving uncle of Jeff and Lyndsey, great uncle of Jack, Nicolas, Arianna, and Anthony, and brother-in-law of Salvatore Nardi.
He also leaves many relatives and friends along with his faithful companion, his dog, Laddie.
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit the family at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA on Saturday, August 2nd from 8:30-9:30 am. Followed by a funeral Mass St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 am, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, MA.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Robert's memory may be made to Lynn Cancer Institute of Boca Raton Regional Hospital, 745 Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486. Flowers will also be accepted at the funeral home for the visiting hours.
