GILFORD – Emile Belanger, 87, of 1424 Lake Shore Road, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Laconia Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on July 8, 1927 in Laconia, the son of Paul P. and Rose (Picard) Belanger. Emile worked for 31 years as a machine operator for Scott & Williams and also worked for Annalee Dolls in Meredith for a number of years. He enjoyed working on cars, especially with his friend, Fred Lamere. Emile loved spending time at Gilford beach and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed feeding his many cats.
He is survived by his sister, Yvonne Chamberlain of Laconia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Covey) Belanger, his two brothers; Leo Belanger and Eddie Belanger, his sister, Dolly Haskell and a nephew, Mark A. Chamberlain.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be private.
