GREGORY S. PHILIPON, age 43, a Pembroke resident for the past 10 years, died suddenly in Colchester, CT on Friday, Nov. 19th. Mr. Philipon was born in Medford, MA and was raised and educated in Hingham, graduating from Hingham High School. He then graduated from Curry College in Milton. Mr. Philipon was a New England Sales Representive for the Lee Spring Company of New York. He was an avid sports and NASCAR fan.
He leaves his parents, Philias and Joan (Pelley) Philipon of Braintree, formerly of Hingham; and was the brother of Douglas S. Philipon of Hollis, NH, Robert G. Philipon of Carrolton, TX and Brenda J. Copus of Crockett, TX.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 23rd at 11 AM at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 916 Main St. (RT. 228), Hingham, MA 02043.
Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Monday from 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the House of Prayer Lutheran Church.
The interment will be in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
