Obituary

BEVERLY: Robert J. Beauregard, 86, died Monday, July 28, 2014 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers following an extended illness.
Born in Peabody on December 18, 1927, he was the son of the late Napolean and Laura (LaPointe) Beauregard. He had resided in Danvers for many years before moving to Beverly where he spent the remaining years of his life. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was honorably discharged in September 1945.
Robert had worked on the Beverly waterfront for several years. He was a member of the Herman A. Spear Post #331, American Legion of Beverly and he enjoyed time spent and volunteering at the Beverly Senior Center. Bob made friends where ever he went and has been loved by many over the years. His family wishes to thank the staff of Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Kaplan Family Hospice House for their compassionate and tender care.
He is survived by his three children, Bobby, Ray and Janice, a granddaughter and a close family of friends including, Claire Sheldon of Beverly, Laurie and Jim Bannen of Danvers, Joseph Ryan of Danvers, Dr. Ralph Epstein of Danvers, Dr. Sylvia Topp of Beverly and the staff of Blueberry Hill.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30th in the Veterans Section of North Beverly Cemetery with full military honors. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Beverly Senior Center, 90 Colon St., Beverly, MA 01915.
