Pamela G. Cabana 55, of Oak Terrace, Mapleville, died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Robert Charland and Gloria (Dupre) Canale. Pam danced for the RI State Ballet for several years. She was a Physical Education teacher in several area schools and also taught gymnastics, dance and aerobics for many years . She had a great love of animals.
Pam is survived by her sons, Keith R. Cabana and his fiancé Iraida Dejesus of N. Smithfield, Robert C. Cabana of Burrillville, and Michael S. Cabana of Woonsocket, a grandson Jesus Melandez, and a brother Robert Scott Charland of Woonsocket.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St. in Slatersville. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM.
