Mrs. Estella M. (Bourget) Coy, of Taunton, died Thursday, July 24 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born 64 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Donat and Esther (Shepard) Bourget. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong area resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as an L.P.N. for 20 years. Estella was a volunteer for Bristol Elder Services. She enjoyed playing bingo, attending charitable events and family get-togethers.
She leaves: 1 daughter: Jamie M. Coy and her fiancé, Andrew R. Whitacre of Milford; 4 brothers: Donat Bourget of Georgia, William Bourget of Florida, Michael Bourget of Fall River, and Christopher Bourget and his wife, Joanne of Taunton; 7 sisters: Cherie Correia and her husband, Armand of Taunton, Esther Phipps of Freetown, Andrea Gendron and her husband, Tom of No.Dighton, Melanie Duhaine and her husband, Bill of Taunton, Mary Bourget and her husband, William Schuttauf of Monson, Juliette Cleveland and her husband, Herbert of Raynham, and Lisa Pierce of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews. Estella was also the sister of the late Richard Bourget.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
