Obituary

Belmont-----Samuel J. Corriveau, 88, of 4 Deer Lane, Lakes Region Co-op Mobile Home Park, Rte 106, died peacefully at the Genesis Laconia Rehabilitation Center, on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
Mr. Corriveau was born June 30, 1926 in Belmont, N.H., the son of the late Gideon and Ada (LaFlam) Corriveau. He served in the U. S. Army and U.S. Air Force and had been employed at Lucier Mill for thirty-five years.
Mr. Corriveau was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont. He loved to fish in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. He loved nature and enjoyed May flowers and picking berries.
Survivors include his former wife, Elaine Corriveau, of Belmont; a son, Joseph Corriveau, and his wife, Linda, of Tewksbury, Mass.; two daughters, Judith A. Hayes and her husband, Tim, of Belmont and Tina M. Abate and her husband, Anthony, of Quinton, Virginia; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He had many cousins in the area.
There will be no calling hours.
A Private Family Graveside Service, will military honors, will be held at a later date at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H.
