Avery Wade “Buddy” Blevens, Sr., 64, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was a retired Ford employee with over 30 years of service, an Army veteran of Vietnam, a member of the American Legion and the UAW. He is survived by his children, Avery Wade Blevens, Jr. (Amanda), April Sue Riggs (Virgil), and Jodie Cundiff (Brad); brothers, Joe, Bobby and Billy Blevens; sisters, Barbara “Sissy” Losey and Judy Cadreau; ten grandchildren and one great grandson. His funeral will be 10:00 am Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Central. Visitation will be Sunday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
