Obituary

EPSOM, NH- A. Jefferson “Jeff” Cornell, Jr., of Epsom, New Hampshire, formerly of Salem, Mass., died Saturday morning, November 25, 2000 in the Mass General Hospital, Boston, following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Salem, Mass., he was the son of the late Alfred J. Cornell, Sr. and Alice E. (Webster) Cornell Bianchi.

He was a self employed financial planner for many years and owned and operated Senior Care Insurance in Epsom, NH for the past six years. He previously owned and operated Advance Financial Panning in East Hampstead, NH for many years were he did life brokerage.

A Vietnam Era Veteran, he served in the Army and attained the rank of Specialist Fourth Class.

He is survived by his former wife, Beverly (Brigham) Cornell of Acton, one sister, Maris B. Cain of Lowell, one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph V. and Kathleen Cornell of Salem, two nephews, Jonathan Cain of Lowell, David Cornell of Salem, two aunts, Shirley Irving and Grace Lockard, both of Peabody, and one uncle, Walter Webster of Saugus.

His funeral service was held Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at 1:30 PM in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, with Rev. G. Kenneth Steigler, Pastor of the Wesley United Methodist Churh, Salem, officiating. Visitation was from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the service.
