Obituary

SALEM- Gloria P. (Serianni) DiMambro, 73, wife of Joseph C. DiMambro, of Crowdis Street, Salem, died Monday, December 18, 2000 at her home following a long illness.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (DiPalma) Serianni.

Prior to her retirement in the late 1980's, she was employed for over 30 years by GTE Sylvania at the Boston Street, Salem plant. She was a member of the GTE Sylvania Quarter Century Club.

A lifelong resident of Salem, Mrs. DiMambro did volunteer work for many years at the Adoption Connection in Peabody.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Jane DiMambro of Salem, two grandchildren, Christopher DiMambro and Tracy DiMambro, both of Salem, two sisters, Sarah Towey of Las Vegas, Nevada, Frances Parkhurst of Salem and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 22nd from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at Ste. Anne’s Church, Salem. Visiting hours were Thursday, 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery.
