SALEM- Elizabeth H. Wallace, 88, of Meadow Street, Salem, died Friday evening December 29, 2000 in the Salem Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Elizabeth (Callahan) Wallace.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the office manager and chief accountant at CBS Hytron which became Sylvania Electric, in Danvers. She then worked in the same capacities for Mighty Mac in Gloucester for many years before retiring in the mid 1970's.
A lifelong resident of Salem, she was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Miss Wallace is survived by two nephews, James A. Wallace of Sykesville, MD, William J. Wallace of Wakefield, two nieces, Deanna W. Stewart of Topsfield and Susan DeBenedictis of Andover. She was the sister of the late William T. Wallace, John W. Wallace, James F. Wallace and aunt of the late Elizabeth A. Lowry.
Her funeral service was held on Thursday, January 4, 2001 from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home 84 Washington Square Eaast, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem, at 9 am.
