Robert A. Cormier, 70, of Manchester, died July 17, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester February 2, 1944 to Adrian and Lillian (Gagne) Cormier. He was a lifelong resident of this city.
Robert worked 32 years as a bus driver for the Manchester Transit Authority.
For more than 20 years he had been a member of the Sylvania Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cribbage, motorcycles, and NASCAR.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Pauline E. (Peacock) Cormier of Manchester; three children, Robert Cormier of Manchester, Michael Cormier and wife Dawn of Hooksett, and Tammy Chalbeck of Pittsfield, NH; two step-children, Jean P. Cormier of Florida and Ann-Marie Therrien and husband David of Goffstown; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Cormier and wife Margo of Epsom; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two siblings, Irene Kucharczyk and Jean Paul Cormier.
The funeral was held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
