ROCKLEDGE, FLA- Henrietta S. (Garlinski) Gauthier, 80, of Rockledge, Florida, formerly of Peabody, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, at her home following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Gauthier.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Zalewski) Garlinski.
Mrs Gauthier was a lifelong resident of Peabody until moving to Rockledge with her family in 1985. She attended Peabody schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School in the class of 1938. She was a member of the St Mary’s Church in Rockledge and a former member of the St John’s Church in Peabody.
Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was employed in the office of Thomas Mackey & Sons, Inc.of Salem for 40 years. She previously worked for the Local, 21, Leather Workers Union in Peabody.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mariann and Richard Redfern, of Rockledge, and with whom she resided, one Brother, Thaddeus “Ted” Garlinski of Peabody, one niece, Robin and her husband Mark Bibo of Farmington Ct, one and grand niece, Allison Bibo of Farmington, CT. She was predeceased by one sister, Sophie Garlinski and a grandson, Christian Redfern.
Her funeral service was held on Thursday, March 15, 2001, at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 AM at St John the Baptist Church, Peabody. Visiting hours at the 20 Church St. location were on Wednesday, 5 to 8 PM. Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
