Gerald “Jerry” Millman of Chelsea passed away on July 13. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Tabachnick) Millman.
Jerry was a sportswear cutter, member and shop steward of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU). A crossing guard for the Chelsea School system, a runner for the Louis Brudnick Insurance Company, an active member of Temple Emmanuel of Chelsea and a member of the Brotherhood at the temple.
Jerry was the devoted father of Joyce Nancy Delyani and her husband Dino, Randi Ellen Millman and Paul Michael Millman and his wife Cheryl. He was the dear brother of Phyllis Salloway and her husband Ellis and dear brother-in-law of Herbert J. Tabachnick and the late Barbara Kaplan her husband the late David and the late Sidney Millman and his surviving wife Shirley. He was the loving grandfather of Marc Delyani, Kaitlyn Wise, and Emily Millman. Jerry was the loving uncle of Neal and Judy Kaplan, Lauren and Sean Nieumeyer, Jay and Allie Kaplan, Allison Fingerman, and Judy and Joey Small. Loving grand uncle of Adam Blake Kaplan, Sarah and Sam Fingerman and Lauren and Ben Small. He is also survived by many devoted cousins and many wonderful friends.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Wednesday, July 16 at 11 AM. Interment in Everett. Memorial observance at Temple Emmanuel (address below) between the hours of 1-5PM. In lieu of flowers contributions in Gerald’s memory may be made to Temple Emmanuel of Chelsea, 60 Tudor Street, Chelsea, MA 02150
