Obituary

SALEM- Monica A. Bukowski, 83, formerly of Salem and Peabody, died Friday, May 11, 2001, at the Sunbridge of the North Shore in Lynn, following a long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Waclaw and Mary (Szmyt) Bukowski. A resident of Salem until moving to Peabody in the mid 1970's, she was a member of the St John The Baptist Church, Salem.

Miss Bukowski was employed in the office of the former Alpers Insurance Co. in Salem

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Dr. Alexander W. Bukowski, Mary Dylingowski and Sophie J. Ray.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. Visitation was Tuesday morning at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem from 8:45 to 9:45 AM, prior to the Mass.
