Paul L. Sylvester Sr. of Salem, New Hampshire and formerly of Derry, New Hampshire died Wednesday morning at his home, he was 37 years old. Mr. Sylvester was born in Lowell, MA October 11, 1967. He was raised and educated in Tewksbury, MA and graduated from Tewksbury High School class of 1985.
He was employed in the Track Department for (MBCR) Mass Bay Commuter Rail as a Track Foreman. He had been a Salem, NH resident since 1998; he was also a member of the BMWE Lodge #201 in Boston, MA. During the Gulf War Operation Desert Storm he served in the US Army as Corporal and received the following decorations, the Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, The Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Stars.
He was the son of the late Vincent “Vinny” Sylvester and survivors include,

Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 4-8pm at the Douglas & Johnson Funereal Home, 214 Main Street in Salem, NH. A funeral Mass will be Saturday at 11:00am at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
