Obituary

SALEM- Alice S. (Staniszewski) Paskowski, 78, wife of Myron Paskowski, of Salem, formerly of Peabody, died Wednesday evening, August 14, 2001, in the Salem Hospital following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Maryanna (Kobierska) Staniszewski. She attended Peabody schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School.

A resident of Salem since 1950, Mrs Paskowski was a parishioner of the former St Joseph’s Church in Peabody and the St James Church.

She was employed in the office of General Accident in Boston and then in Peabody for many years until her retirement in 1986.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and William Richard of Salisbury, Joyce and Ronald LaPointe of Rowley, one son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Paskowski of Danvers, seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Kimberly Richard of Salisbury, Kristina and Jeffrey LaPointe of Rowley, Eric, Daniel and Mark Paskowski of Danvers, three sisters, Lee Hilenski of Peabody, Florence Piccola of Lynn, Frances Moss of Methuen, two brothers, Henry Stanford of Danvers, Stanley Stanford of Huntington Beach, California ans several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Alexandria Zwiercan.

Her funeral service was held Tuesday, August 21, 2001, at 8 AM from the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 AM at St James Church, Salem. Visiting hours were Monday, 3 to 6 pm. Burial was in will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation, Grand Central Station, P.O.
