PAXTON-Theresa E. Broman, 78, of 38 Asnebumskit Road, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, November 16th at home after a long illness. Her husband of 53 years, Roy F. Broman died in June of 2002. She leaves 2 sons, Paul G. and his wife Jeryl Broman of Sturbridge and Roy F. Broman, Jr. and his wife Robin of Sutton, 2 daughters, Diane T. Cook of Paxton and Kathy wife of Thomas Yeulenski of Worcester, 4 brothers, Alphonse, Joseph and Roland Robidoux all of Rochdale and Ronald Robidoux of Tennessee, 2 sisters, Anne Houle of Oxford and Annette Derian of New York, 9 grandchildren, Karl Smith of NM and Karen Smith of Worcester, Rebecca, Jeffrey and Cathleen Cook all of Paxton, Heather Broman of New Bedford, Jennifer Broman of Sutton, Daniel and Amy Broman both of Sturbridge, a great grandson, Elijah Cook of Paxton, many nephews and nieces. 4 brothers and sisters, Rita, Arthur, Raymond and Anita predeceased her.
She was born in Leicester the daughter of Joseph and Victoria (Courtemache) Robidoux. Mrs. Broman worked at the former Carleton Woolen Mills in Rochdale for many years, until retiring. In her retirement she worked for the College of the Holy Cross. She was an avid Red Sox Fan and enjoyed crocheting.
The funeral is Friday, November 19th with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Columba Church, 18 Richards Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours are Thursday, November 18th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
