Obituary

Curley, James Rockne a former 48 year resident of Dedham passed away Monday June 30th. He was born in Cambridge in 1931 and attended Boston Trade High School. Following trade school he embarked on a long career as an electrician in Boston’s IBEW Local 103, following that he went on to become the Director of Engineering and Maintenance at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton. He loved his summer getaways to Bridgeton Maine with his family. He is survived by his son Michael Curley and wife Maura (Costello) of Attleboro, Robert Curley of Middleboro, Thomas Curley and wife Rose (Fazio) of Wilmington, Stephen Curley of Fort Myers Florida and daughter Laura Curley of Poway California, and his five grandchildren Charles, Andrew, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Noah. He is also survived by his sister Kay Condon (Curley) of Sharon, his brother Lawrence Curley and Helen of Westwood, along with many nieces and nephews. He had spent the last few years of his retirement in Poway California.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. DEDHAM Wednesday at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham, at 9AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8PM. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the charity of your choice.
