BIBB, ROBERT "WILLIE" WILLIAM, 73, of Louisville passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014
Willie was a loving and devoted husband and father. He served the Lord joyfully with heartfelt love for all. His passion was to bring the Word of God to all that would listen.
He served in The US Air Force from 1962 to 1966. He worked for 35 years at Rohm & Haas and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Upon retiring he focused on writing short books as teaching tools about the Roman Catholic Faith.
He is preceded by his parents Bill and Skeets (Mary) Bibb.
In 1962 Willie married his sweetheart Mary Ann Cahill, who survives him. He is also survived by his sons, Donnie (Tammey), David (Rose) and Mike as well as Daughters Linda (Jeff), Margaret (Ricky), Pam (Frank) and Angie (Adam).
Willie was also blessed and survived by many grandchildren; Jordan, Taylor, Audrey, Isaac, Rachael, Hannah, Ruby, Tabitha, Kimberly, Jennifer, Carolyn, John, Jacob, Roxanne, Linda, Monica, Matthew, Joe, Benjamin, Sarah, Sophia, Anna and Frank as well as great grandchildren Isabella, Noble and Gracelyn.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and from 12 – 8 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
