Manchester– Helene L. Craven, 89, died June 24, 2014 at the Pleasant View Center in Concord following a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on December 10, 1924 the daughter of Sylva and Lillian (Boisvert) Nadeau.
She was a bookkeeper all her working years and worked for several Manchester companies. For a brief period she worked for her parents at the well known Yvette’s Coffee Shoppe in the 50’s on So. Willow St..
She was predeceased by her husband George Craven who died on January of 1989 and her son Daniel Craven who died May 13, 2008.
Family members include one daughter in law, Jayne Craven, one grandson Alex Craven, one granddaughter Elana Craven, a sister Cecile Proulx and her husband Maurice, a brother Gerard Nadeau and his wife Beatrice, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial reception will be held Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A prayer service will be held at 7:30 in the funeral home during calling hours.
