WORCESTER – Dorothy G. (Leclaire) McInnes, 88, died Monday, June 23, 2014, at Christopher House in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick McInnes who died in 1982. She is survived by two sons, Michael McInnes and his wife Denise of Worcester and Christopher McInnes and his wife Gail of Spencer; a sister, Eleanor Erickson of Sterling; three grandchildren, Erin McInnes and her fiancé Brian Sheridan of Auburn, Private Daniel McInnes of Oahu, Hawaii, and Amy McInnes of Spencer; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Georgianna Jordan; and three brothers, Frederick, Stanis, and Edward Leclaire. She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Alfred and Ozelia (Flibbert) Leclaire.
Mrs. McInnes was a secretary for the City of Worcester School Department for over 12 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Worcester, a member of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, and loved all crafts.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., Worcester. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Alfred Roy and Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester.
