Obituary

DUDLEY– Veronica V. (Penkala) Bogatkowski, 95, formerly of Mill Street, died Monday, Nov. 15, Oakwood Rehab & Nursing Center. Her husband, Edward M. Bogatkowski, died in 1935.

She leaves a son, Edward M. Bogatkowski and his wife Rita; a sister, Julia Taberski, all of Webster; 2 granddaughters; 5 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Joseph and Victoria (Kurek) Penkala, and lived in Dudley most of her life.

Mrs. Bogatkowski was a spinner at American Woolen Co. and at Carlton Woolen in Charlton before she retired in 1973. She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church.

The funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 18, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Thursday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home. The family suggests donations be made to Oakwood Rehab & Nursing Center, Patient Activities Fund, 11 Pontiac Ave., Webster, MA 01570
